Tundra adaptée | Planche très prometteuse et polyvalente pour TOUS.tes !

Avec O'sijja SUP adapté Québec, nous travaillons fort pour rendre la pratique de la planche à pagaie plus accessible aux personnes avec des limitations fonctionnelles, et ce depuis 7 ans maintenant. Devant l'engouement grandissant des nouveaux adeptes de SUP adapté d'année en année, Taïga a souhaité embarqué, eux aussi, dans l'aventure inclusive avec le développement de ce nouveau modèle gonflable (incluant les flotteurs), qui, je pense, en ravira plus d'un !
O'sijja a eu le plaisir de collaborer sur ce beau projet innovant et on a brièvement eu l'occasion de tester la planche adaptée gonflable Tundra 12' cet été pendant le petit temps de pause de l'organisme, en version avec fauteuil roulant et une accompagnatrice (voir photos).

Ce qui est ressorti de notre sortie, est indéniablement sa stabilité et sa maniabilité sur l'eau. Bien sûr il est possible d'y installer un siège de kayak également. C'est un modèle très prometteur, avec plusieurs options d'adaptations ou d'ajustements possibles à l'aide de ses inserts et des anneaux D-rings. Le tout peut être transporté (dégonflé) dans un grand sac de transport à roulettes. Oui, il peut sembler un peu plus lourd quand tout y est rangé, mais c'est quand même un atout de pouvoir tout ranger dans un seul et même sac dans le coffre de l'auto. Une pompe électrique peut être facilitant pour gonfler le tout, surtout si on choisit le modèle à batterie.

Nous sommes très heureux de voir des modèles gonflables se joindre à la belle flotte des planches adaptées qui existent aujourd'hui, qui permettront sans doute à un encore plus large public avec des besoins particuliers, de s'initier au SUP.
